Basic Obedience Training
This is an individual class centered on you and your dog so we focus on your needs. We start by teaching basic skills such sit, stay, come, down, no-bite, off, heel, door manners, and leave it. We guide you to effectively use treats, positive reinforcement and timing to train your dog. We also introduce distractions so your dog will be able to handle the real world. This is a hands-on class to work with you and your dog. Our instructors are highly skilled trainers who can help you with any issues you are having with your dog.
Classes are $150. Call 440-954-1730 or email Laurie@4PetsClinic.com for more information or to make an appointment.
AKC Canine Good Citizen
The
purpose of the canine good citizen program
is to ensure that our favorite companion,
the dog, can be a respected member of the
community because it has been trained to be
well behaved in the home, in public places,
and in the presence of other dogs. The
canine good citizen program welcomes both
purebred and mixed breed dogs. The canine
good citizen test is noncompetitive and dogs
are not required to perform with the same
precision required in formal obedience. Dogs
that pass all 10 items of the canine good
citizen test, including purebred and mixed
breeds, are listed in the canine good
citizen records at the American Kennel Club.
Owners of dogs that pass all 10 items of the
canine good citizen test may order an
official canine good citizen certificate
from the American Kennel Club.
Training and testing is done by a certified
AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
Prospective students must have successfully
completed the Basic Obedience here or at
another school.
Call for more information or stop in for an
AKC Canine Good Citizen pamphlet.
Classes are $60. Call 440-934-5353 or email Laurie@4PetsClinic.com for more information or to make an appointment.
